In Islington, there are two kinds of membership. National and Local.

National Membership (of the Green Party of England and Wales) costs £31 per annum, and gives you the following

- Full voting rights for all internal elections

- Right to attend the Spring and Autumn national Conferences

- All GPEW publications, including the Quarterly “Green News” magazine

- Ability to link into e-groups of Green Activists

- right to attend all local party meetings and get their e- newsletters

We have also set up a Local Membership scheme, for people who want to support us in Islington, but don’t want to join a National Political Party. This costs £8/annum (£4 unwaged etc). For this you get

- the right to vote in all Internal elections relating to IGP (eg council and Parliamentary candidate selection)

- the right to attend all local meetings and social events

- monthly IGP newsletter and access to IGP e-forums

- but no access to national party conference and national elections, and no Green News etc.
